Le Petit Village Boutique Hotel & Spa

Comfortable, very clean, spacious garden hotel in the middle of Kampala. There is a gated entrance. Felt very safe. Many restaurants in the complex. There’s even a small supermarket inside the village. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Looks like many people come in the evening just for the many restaurants. The only downside is the bathroom needs updating. Enjoyed the stay.

What a beautiful quaint hotel! I love the grounds. My favorite restaurant is the Japanese cuisine Hanobi. The food presentation on all dishes regardless to which restaurant you visit is exquisite. The staff is very accommodating. Gym is beautiful and my room lovely! Only suggestion is 1. Increase the entertainment on TV as ther is only 1 movie channel 2. The air condition was not consistent in that the room could get a little warm. 3. I never had warm or hot water my entire stay.

I stayed here with my husband for two nights on the recommendation of a friend and we found it a very charming oasis in the middle of bustling Kabalagala. The location is also convenient. We had a business room on the second floor - it was super spacious, with a desk, a big bed, a super comfy lounge chair, teamaker, coffeemaker, closet. I found the light in the room a bit bright and the pillows too big and didn’t manage to adjust the a/c to less cold but other than that the room was very comfortable. There was also a lovely terrace with a view over the roofs of the area. The bathroom was nice, except there was no hot water on our second morning - apparently that’s due to the fact that they are solar powered. We asked for a blow dryer at the reception which was no problem. The have the very nice Kenyan Cinnebar cosmetics (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash) except no body lotion. The backside of the hotel can be noisy with cars honking, goats, chickens etc. - the cottages are probably quieter but also buggier. Anyway, it didn’t bother us too much. We loved the spa - the location is great up on top of a cottage - Barbara, Sarah and Isaac spoiled us and it was so relaxing. I would highly recommend a spa treatment! The pool looks lovely but we didn’t use it. They also have a super nice gym. The front staff were kind and efficient. The breakfast was nice but the staff there were rather slow. Took a long time for a coffee order to arrive and utensils were sometimes missing (for fruit, porridge or spoons on the table). But they have a nice buffet with lots of options and the porridge and dawa are the best. The compound is super convenient as well with three restaurants and a gourmet supermarket as well as a hairdresser and a gift shop. We would come back!

The staff is very (very) friendly. They were always available and would help with a smile each time. There was a wide variety of food across the numerous restaurants on site, which also carried good hours of operation. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. While I wish the coffee in the room was nicer, the restaurant had delicious coffee.

Amazing oasis in Kampala. The hotel complex wowed is from arrival to departure. Stunning ground, rooms, restaurants, and the best staff! We were tested to 5 star accommodation, 5 star dining, and 5 star service from begining to end. Le Petit is to Kampala what Raffles is to Singapore.

This hotel was the ideal place to rest after several days of safari. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff; they were always ready to help you with a smile. The spacious, bright room was beautifully decorated, and had a modern bathroom with all necessities. The hotel has numerous facilities that suit everyone's needs; a day at the pool, relaxing in the spa, or a work-out in the gym. In the cozy restaurants and bars on the domain we could enjoy a refined breakfast, refreshing cocktails and delicious lunch and dinners. The central location of this hotel offers the advantage of being close to everything, but does not disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the hotel. Definitely recommended!
